KYB FRONT LOWER ARM PROTON IRIZ (14~25) / NEW PERSONA VVT (16~)

ROLE OF CONTROL ARM: Control arms guide the wheel without supporting the weight of the vehicle.

Also known as a wishbone.

It is the largest and most critical part of the front suspension elements that keeps the wheels in position and limits their movement against forces from the outside, but allows upwards and downwards movements.

Control arms allow a driver to steer a car while also guiding the wheels up and down with the road surface.

Control arms play a vital role in a vehicle's overall stability and drivability.

They are a direct connection point between the front wheel assembly and the vehicle's frame.

Cars can have both an upper and a lower control arm at each side or only a pair of lower at each side.

FEATURES:

Each type of control arm has rubber bushings at each of the pivot points.
